On a very peaceful day, “Avin” and “Haleh” were walking among delicate blue flowers. The air smelled of powdered sugar and jasmine. They were looking for a place that had beautiful silence.
“Puneh” joined them with a smile, too. She had a magical map in her hand. The girls went forward until they reached the entrance of a big, beautiful cave. Glowing vines had covered the area around the cave.
When they entered the cave, “Avin” and “Haleh” were breathless with amazement. The cave’s walls sparkled like diamonds. No sound could be heard except the soft sound of butterflies’ wings.
“Haleh” and “Puneh” saw big flowers on the ground that were lit up like little lamps. These flowers smelled like sweet sleep. Each of their petals was soft and delicate, like a feather pillow.
The ceiling of the cave was like the night sky. “Avin” and “Puneh” looked at the shining stars that were stuck to the ceiling. The stars blinked calmly and sprinkled a golden light everywhere.
“Avin” and “Haleh” became thirsty. They drank the clear drops of dew from the silvery leaves. The taste of this water was like strawberry syrup—sweet and cool.
Little by little, the girls’ eyes grew heavy. “Haleh” and “Puneh” found a cozy corner that was full of soft, green moss. There, it was like a magical bed for resting.
“Avin” and “Puneh” lay down next to each other. A gentle light, like a warm blanket, covered them. The Silent Cave held them in its warm embrace.
In sleep, “Avin” and “Haleh” saw colorful dreams. They flew on pink clouds and swam with silver fish in a river of honey. Everything was magical and calm.
“Puneh” also fell into a deep sleep. The Silent Cave was a safe place for the kind girls. The stars still shone, and the silence sang the most beautiful lullaby in the world for them.
