At the end of a rainy day, when the sun smiled again, little "Delvin" stood behind the window. She saw a colorful bridge in the sky that stretched far, far away. Delvin whispered to herself: "I wish I could walk on that path."
Delvin knew this was no ordinary bridge. She put on her shiny shoes and ran toward the garden. Suddenly, a trail full of golden dust appeared beneath her feet, leading straight toward the first color of the rainbow.
As Delvin got closer to the cloud, a small bird named "Chika" landed beside her, with wings that shone like velvet. Chika said in a bell-like voice: "Hello, Delvin! Would you like me to show you the world of colors? I know the way!"
Together they stepped onto the red band of the rainbow. There, it was like an endless plain of big, sweet strawberries. Delvin and Chika bounced up and down on the soft strawberries that were like pillows, and they laughed.
Then they reached the orange part. This whole path was made of cool orange syrup. Delvin slid down a tall, orange slide. The wind curled through her hair, and everywhere smelled wonderfully of citrus.
In the yellow section, the sun was closer to them and shone like a warm lemon cookie. Delvin and Chika held a jumping contest among golden bubbles that hung in the air. Every bubble that popped made the sound of children’s laughter.
After that, Delvin reached the green plains. The grasses were soft under her feet like silk cloth. She was a little tired, so she stretched out on the lawn. The grass smelled of mint and rain and sang her a lullaby.
In the blue band, the air suddenly changed. Everything was like swimming in a pool full of mist. Delvin and Chika kicked their hands and feet in the light, blue air and saw little sea stars that were flying across the sky.
On the last step, the color purple, a big fluffy cloud was waiting for them. Everywhere smelled of lavender flowers. Delvin and Chika danced together on the purple clouds, and Chika sang her most beautiful song for her.
When the sun went to sleep, the rainbow slowly faded away. With a wink at Chika, Delvin returned to her room. Now she was in her bed, but she knew that whenever it rained, she knew the secret path to the magical land.
