In a faraway, beautiful forest, a little bear named “Geli” lived. Geli loved walking on the soft grass and watching the blue sky. He had a kind heart and curious eyes.
One morning, when the sun slowly woke up, Geli saw something strange. A golden, shining leaf named “Afra” came loose from a tree branch and gently spun through the air.
Afra danced with the wind. She went left and then twirled to the right. It was as if she were calling Geli to come play together. Afra floated in the middle of a gentle breeze.
Geli started running after Afra. With his little feet, he ran along the ground and laughed. Afra went higher and spun around Geli’s head. They were playing hide-and-seek together.
Geli rose up on his tiptoes and twirled. He tried to be light and free like Afra. Afra came down too and, for a moment, sat on Geli’s small paw. Now they were each other’s best friends.
Suddenly the wind blew a little harder, and Afra’s other friends came down from the trees too. A red leaf named “Sorkhak” joined them as well. The forest filled with warm, beautiful colors.
With complete happiness, Geli gathered all the leaves in one corner. He wanted to make a big, soft pile of kindness. With his little hands, he piled the yellow, red, and orange leaves on top of one another.
When the big pile was ready, Geli took a deep breath and… boom! He threw himself into the middle of the soft leaves. The “crunch-crunch” sound of the leaves echoed through the forest like beautiful music.
The sun slowly went behind the mountains, and the air became cool. Geli was tired but happy. Afra, the golden leaf, gently sat on Geli’s nose to say good night to him.
Geli fell asleep in a bed of warm, soft leaves. He dreamed that tomorrow he would dance again with Afra and Sorkhak among the cottony clouds. The forest had drifted into silence and calm.
